First of all – the project is not dead. 🙂 We decided to spend a bit more time optimizing RF performance to make sure we don’t disappoint you.
Meantime, some people are already adding support for XTRX into their future products, so we’ve prepared an XTRX pinout to facilitate this development.
Add XTRX support into your next product as well!
UPD May 4, 2017: Uploaded rev7 of the pinout datasheet with minor corrections.

In your pinout, some reserved pins are used for the second lane of PCIe minicard, would you mind revealing how to find the corresponding host, i.e. PC?, or is the PC proprietary?

These reserved pins are declared as optional second PCIe lane in the official pinout, but unfortunately very few SBC’s/motherboards implement this. You can definitely do that if you’re implementing your own SBC/motherboard.
We also built a miniPCIe-to-PCIe adaptor which routes both PCIe lanes from miniPCIe to a full PCIe. This allows us to use full PCIe x2 speed in desktop applications. This adaptor will be made available to everyone as an accessory for XTRX.

Hi Alexander,
If I would like to get the latest XTRX for evaluation, how can I get it ?
thanks

Amistad, we will launch a crowd-funding campaign for XTRX very soon.
If you want to get hold of early versions of XTRX before the crowd-funding, send us a more detailed information about your project and SDR skills in the Contact Us form. We have a limited amount of boards we’re distributing among early access partners.
